      @@wethecurious I always wonder why we use animals lungs? Can't we just use a human donor? Docters have it why can't anybody else use it?

    • @wethecurious
      @wethecurious 2 месяца назад

      There are a few reasons. In the UK we have a law saying that people can donate their body parts to science - and you have to be very specific about how those donations are used. Many people would prefer their donations to be used in medicine because there is an obvious benefit for other people. But also, people don't always agree that we should be using human donations in dissections. For some people, that could bring up a lot of emotions that they may not want. Pig lungs are similar enough to human lungs that we can still learn a lot from dissecting them. I hope that helps! - Gemma

    see i always thought lungs where just empty and had, tube to the empty lungs, and the cilia like did something with the air or something happened with the air and turn it to oxygen which got me thinkin HMMM HOW DO LUNGS WORK? and now i realize they are solid materials that have roots and air sacs at the end of said roots which is what gets the oxygen and uses it, has veins attatched that exchange said oxygen and send it to the heart and rest of the body and releases co2 in the sacs that is exhaled through the roots, bronchi, trachea, and out the mouth. the same way the o2 came but backwards and with Co2, its wild i never realised this until today, and whats even more wild is how deceiving online picture drawing/diagrams are of the lungs because they can look empty

    Nope absorption of solar energy by leaf is about 70%. The one of the best solar panel is 30%. Then how will leaf consume the absorbed energy? Many. First foods production and regeneration by electric splitting and reassembling elements, water pumping-up by creating vacuum of tree top branch and stem from root, absorbing water vapors from air to keep leaves humid, own water production to prevent dryness of leaf. One interesting experiment. When you are under the big shadow tree, you feel cooler. Then when you stand under solar panel, you feel warmer. Why? Solar panel has larger light resistance and electricity resistance that all produce heat. Solar energy is composed of light wave and radiation electromegnetic waves. Leaf can absorb both but solar panel is only light wave, splitting and discarding the other. That is why you feel warmer under the panel.

    REALLY? "no one knows how the dust sticks together to form planets"??? One of the International Space Station astronauts noticed years ago that small particles in microgravity started sticking together due to ***STATIC ELECTRICITY*** ;) Astrophysicists quickly realized that that was likely the 1st step of planet formation: static electric clumping of dust to sand sized particles, then pebbles, then boulders and then gravity taking over, then steroids and then proto planets :) I think you really need to redo your video and find the other outdated data and update it :)
